I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
